Take part in the 5th anniversary Marathon March - virtually!
The Marathon March is a 26.2 mile walk that takes place every October, starting at Selhurst Park. This year we will be offering fans a chance to take part virtually to show their support for young South Londoners.
Join Palace for Life for the 5th Anniversary Marathon March – virtually this year!
We understand that we live in a different world to that in which the Marathon March has previously taken place. We are therefore delighted to announce that we will be offering our supporters the chance to join the 5th Anniversary Marathon March virtually!
The marathon-length walk will be running for its fifth year, and we want to make it our biggest and best event yet. We feel that hosting the event both in-person and virtually gives Palace fans, wherever they are in the world, the chance to come together to support the south London community.
Our virtual entrants will have 24 hours on Saturday 9th October 2021 to take on the 26.2 mile challenge on a route of their choice, wherever they are on the planet. All participants will receive their Marathon March T-Shirt and finishers medal through the post once they have submitted confirmation of their completed walk and the minimum fundraising target being met.
The registration fee will still be £25 (£20 for half route, £10 under 18s) and we would also ask that all virtual walkers commit to raising a minimum of £300 each in sponsorship. All virtual participants will be provided with a training programme, created by Palace fan and personal trainer, Beulah Pickles. Alongside this they will receive fundraising support and resources leading up to the event.
