Terms and Conditions

The Site is a UK-based website owned by Palace for Life Foundation and complies with the Data Protection Law of 2005 relating to the personal information you supply online. Any personal information you provide to Palace for Life Foundation whilst contracting with these entities is stored and controlled by Palace for Life Foundation, located at Palace for Life Foundation, Selhurst Park Stadium, London, SE25 6PU.

Using our services gives us your express consent to process your data as described hereafter. The information collected by the aforementioned entities when you register with us at the www.palaceforlife.org website is used to communicate with you and improve our services where possible, specifically, to process payments or enable third parties to carry out technical functions. These functions may be carried out by us or appointed third parties bound by Data Protection covenants and must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Laws.

In addition to personal data such as name, email address, billing address, credit or debit card number and expiry date, we also analyse data about participants to provide a safe shopping environment for all users. Examples of the data we may collect and analyse include the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, login, password, computer and connection information such as browser type and version, your operating system and platform, the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our website (including date and time), cookie number and your purchase history.

In using the Site, you accept that your data may be used for such purposes. We will not sell, distribute or disclose information about you or your usage of the Site without your express consent or unless required or permitted to do so by law. Please note that we provide links to other sites, which this Privacy Policy may not govern, and you should view the respective privacy policies of those sites for further information. Participants have the right to access their stored data, rectify them if required, and object to their data storage for legitimate purposes. We want to keep your information up-to-date; you may change any of the basic information we hold about you at any time by emailing admin@palaceforlife.org.

In addition to the information, you supply, information and data may be automatically collected through cookies. Cookies are small text files the Site can use to recognise repeat users. You can configure your internet browser to accept or reject specific cookies or inform you when a cookie is saved. We do not cross the information recorded in the cookies with personal information collected at the time of registration on the Site or with your online activity. Some of our business partners may themselves use cookies on their websites. We have no access or control of these cookies; therefore, we cannot accept liability for any malfunctioning of your PC or its installed web browser due to your access to any of the websites. We may monitor customer traffic patterns, Site usage and related Site information to optimise your use of the Site, and we may give aggregated statistics to a reputable third party. Still, these statistics will include no information personally identifying you. We may also use the information we gather to notify you about significant functionality changes and alterations to the Site or offers of products, services or information that might be of particular interest to you. By submitting your information and ticking the requisite boxes on any order form, you expressly consent to such use and transfer to the extent permitted by applicable law.

 

  1. BOOKINGS

1A. You can book for any number of courses considering the participant meets the age requirements (courses are open to boys and girls aged 5 to 14 years – unless otherwise stated) for those courses; however, you can only book for that player at a time.

1B. Spaces on each course are subject to availability.

1C. Palace for Life Foundation reserves the right to stop accepting bookings at any time.

1D. To make a booking, you will need to provide us with debit/credit card details. If you do not have a credit/debit card, you will need to make a postal application. Please note; we do not accept American Express as a payment option.

1E. Credit notes cannot be redeemed online. In order to use a Credit Note, you will need to enclose this with your application form and send it to us in the post.

1F. All bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and full payment is required with booking. The closing date is 24 hours before the course commencing or earlier if the course is fully subscribed.

1G. Payments are taken in pounds sterling.

 

2.MEDICAL CONDITIONS

2A. It is imperative that you inform us of any medical conditions or medication your son/daughter requires.

 

3.CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING

3A. You will receive your booking confirmation by email, so please ensure you provide a valid email address when booking.

3.B. If the confirmation screen does not load or you do not receive your confirmation email, it may have found its way into your “Junk” or “Spam” folders, so please check there first. If you do not receive confirmation, it is unlikely that your booking has been successful so please contact us to confirm your booking to avoid disappointment.

 

4.REFUND POLICY

4A. We do not issue refunds unless we cancel a course (please see Cancellations)

4B. In the event of an unforeseen event or an injury where 2 or more consecutive days are missed of a Soccer School, we may issue you with a Credit Note for the value of the missed days, which can be redeemable against any Palace For Life Foundation Soccer School within the following 6 months, but this will be at our sole discretion. A medical certificate may be required, and you will need to contact us prior to or during the Soccer School to inform us. Failure to do so will result in a Credit Note not being issued.

4C. In the event of an unforeseen event or an injury where over 50% of all the sessions of a full weekly football/sports course/block of sessions are missed, we may issue you with a Credit Note for the value of the missed sessions which can be redeemable against any Palace For Life Foundation full weekly football/sports course/block within the following 6 months, but this will be at our sole discretion. A medical certificate may be required, and you will need to contact us prior to or during the weekly football/sports course to inform us. Failure to do so will result in a Credit Note not being issued.

Any refund or credit shall be issued less an administration fee and at the discretion of one of our Business Support Team or Senior Managers only and any verbal promise or inference of a refund or credit, given by any other member of our staff or Crystal Palace FC staff, may not be honoured.

 

 

5.CANCELLATIONS

5.A. Palace for Life Foundation reserves the right to cancel a Soccer School course at any time. In this instance, you will be notified at least 24 hours before the course commences. We will attempt to transfer your booking to another course of equivalent or lesser value, subject to availability. If you can’t transfer to another course, then a full credit for a subsequent course within 12 months of the Soccer School will be issued. Full refunds for these courses may be made, but this will be at our sole discretion.

5.B. Palace for Life Foundation reserves the right to cancel a full weekly football/sports course/block of sessions at any time. If a whole course over a fixed duration of weeks is cancelled, we will attempt to transfer your booking to another course of equivalent or lesser value, subject to availability. If it is not possible for you to transfer to another course, then a full credit for a subsequent football/sports course within 12 months of the weekly block booking will be issued. Full refunds for these courses may be made, but this will be at our sole discretion.

 

6.FORCE MAJEURE

If by any reason of any Event of Force Majeure PfLF is delayed in, or prevented from, performing any of the provisions of the booking or delivering any services to the customer, then such delay or non-performance or non-delivery shall not constitute a breach of these terms and conditions, and the obligations of PfLF shall be suspended for the entire duration of such Event of Force Majeure. PfLF shall not be liable to the customer for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation arising as a direct or indirect result of breach or non-performance of this Agreement due to an Event of Force Majeure. For the purpose of this clause: Event of Force Majeure shall mean “any event affecting the performance of any provision of this booking arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions or accidents which are beyond the reasonable control of PfLF including any abnormally inclement weather, flood, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, earthquake, subsidence, structural damage, epidemic, pandemic or other natural physical disasters, failure or shortage of power supplies, war, military operations, riot, crowd disorder, strike, lock-outs or other industrial action, terrorist action, civil commotion and any legislation, regulation, ruling or omissions (including failure to grant any necessary permissions) of any relevant government, court or any competent national or international authority or Governing Body. For the avoidance of doubt, any decision or order of the Government, the Safety Advisory Group, the Police or any Governing Body which prevents the PfLF from taking bookings shall be an Event of Force Majeure”.

 

7.CHILD EXCLUSION

We reserve the right to exclude any child for any reason, including but not limited to inappropriate parent or child behaviour, illness, bullying and repeated late collection. Where the child’s comprehension or understanding is such that it may affect the child’s safety or other children, we reserve the right to discuss this with the parent or referring agency and not permit the child to return. Refunds will not be offered for the remaining days when a child is excluded. No refund will be made for days missed, and no compensation will be made for any other costs or losses incurred as a result.
