In partnership with the Salvation Army, Extra Time aims to promote happier, healthier, ageing through informal physical activity and at the same time combat social isolation and improve older people’s quality of life.
The free hub combines social activities with the chance to catch up over a cup of tea. These are often varied and led by the group on a weekly basis. They can include quizzes, film club, bowls, pool, table tennis, seated exercise, board games and informative workshops.
All abilities, aged 55+
