Traineeship Open Day for 16-25s looking for training or employment

Palace for Life Foundation are hosting two Traineeship Open Days for young people aged 16-25 who are looking to find employment, training or further their education.

Are you 16-25 years old??

Are you currently not in education, training or full-time employment?

The Palace for Life Traineeship Programme could help you get back into education or employment.

If you are a young adult looking for work or to get back into education, the Palace for Life Traineeship Programme could be for you.

The programme addresses youth unemployment in south London, as we engage young people in a variety of innovative ways to help create a path into employment and further training.

By taking part in the Traineeship you will receive a qualification in ‘Employability and Personal and Social Development’. You will also take part in workshops and develop knowledge in employability, presentation skills, leadership skills, teamwork, money management and social action.

Anyone who takes part in the Traineeship will receive personal mentoring and support throughout the course and the chance to gain accredited qualifications in fields that interest them.

Pathways you can go into from the Traineeship include:

  • Construction
  • Hospitality
  • Stewarding
  • Security
  • Fitness and Leisure
  • School Jobs
  • Sports Coaching
  • Sports Development

Palace for Life will be hosting two Open Days for individuals who are interested in the Traineeship and want to find out more. The Open Days will take place on 26 May and 1 June 2021, with the Traineeship starting on 8 June 2021.
