Volunteer with Foundation

Would you like to be one of our sports coaches? Or volunteer in our communications and fundraising teams?

We deliver many programmes and we’re looking for volunteers to support us. If you’re aged 16-24 then the Community Eagles Volunteer Programme (CEVP) could be for you!

LUKE-volunteer

It’s a targeted initiative for young people to invest in their future by facilitating personal development, physical activity and developing skills in the work place. We provide you with a unique insight to working within the charitable sector across a variety of platforms.

CEVP participants complete a personal development plan to target specific goals of education, employment or training. As these goals are met, volunteers receive incentives such as match tickets, kit and accredited qualifications.

Volunteers also obtain monthly training and employment support. The majority of current full and part-time Foundation staff started by volunteering, so we consider it as an important first step in the pathway to a successful career.

We have links with a variety of local employers and have provided references for previous volunteers to go in to paid work. Luke, pictured above previously assisted our Monday evening veteran’s football sessions in Bromley and now has two part time jobs as a youth worker in Sutton and a facilitator for people with disabilities.
