Palace at Home
We are working closely with Crystal Palace F.C. to provide home school activities, well-being and fitness sessions, webinars and talks during the 2021 lockdown.
Palace for Life Foundation and Crystal Palace F.C have joined forces to launch Palace at Home, a virtual programme to support Palace fans throughout the latest national lockdown.
With a focus on education, entertainment, physical activity and mental wellbeing, Palace for Life will be hosting various challenges, spotlight sessions, webinars and live online sessions to support Palace fans of all ages and backgrounds during this difficult time.
Our expert coaches will be running virtual sessions on a variety of topics from coach development, to life skills and career advice. Palace at Home will also provide fitness and activity training opportunities, strength and conditioning workouts and mental health support resources to help tackle the impact Covid-19 has had both on our communities and our people, affecting both their physical and mental health.
With the further impact of school children across the country having to take their learning home over the coming weeks, many youngsters are being home-schooled which poses a range of challenges.
From filling time to keeping topics as engaging as possible, it can be tough for youngsters to sustain their interests when learning from home – so bring Palace at Home into the mix to support any junior Eagles’ home learning.
Working with Crystal Palace there are various activities with an added Palace twist to support the learning of key subjects such as English, math, art and PE. Not forgetting extra football training, with weekly live football fitness sessions and skill video challenges from Palace for Life coaches!
