October 9 2021 sees the return of the Palace for Life Foundation Marathon March, celebrating the 5th year of the flagship fundraising event.

Every year participants are encouraged to partake in training for the 26.2 mile walk to ensure they have the best possible experience on the day.  This year, thanks to Beulah Pickles Personal Training, all participants will receive a training programme consisting of three different levels; suitable for a beginner, intermediate or advanced walker.

The programme is suitable for any individual regardless of current fitness and exercise levels and consists of advice on subjects such as hydration, nutrition, appropriate footwear and training gear- all designed to help you on the day.

This year the marathon-length walk is running for its fifth year, and we want to make it our biggest and best event yet. Every year the Marathon March brings together Palace fans, legends and supporters alike, the social event is open to anyone, and is non-competitive, where the primary aim is to raise money for Palace for Life.

The four previous years of the Marathon March have seen Palace fans raise over £350,000 for the Foundation, directly supporting our work with vulnerable young people in south London.

As well as the training programme, all participants will receive a Marathon March T-Shirt, and a finishers medal.

All participants are asked to pay a registration fee of £25 (£20 for half route, £10 under 18s) and to commit to raising a minimum of £300 each in sponsorship.

The training programmes are based over the 20 weeks leading up to the Marathon March, so we would advise you to sign up to the Marathon March by July to really get the best out of them.
