Introducing: Bike to Wolves
Palace fans will be taking on our most demanding fundraising challenge yet: a 160-mile cycle to the West Midlands to the Eagles take on Gary O'Neil's Wolves at the Molineux on the 10th and 11th May.
WHAT IS BIKE TO WOLVES?
A group of brave Palace fans are joining us in our fourth, and hardest yet, ‘Bike To’ fundraising challenge. This time, from our usual starting point of Selhurst Park to the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Molineux stadium.
The ultimate away-day challenge is commencing bright and early on the 10th May, where riders will travel 111 miles up through the Oxford countryside before stopping off for the night in a hotel in Warwickshire. The next morning, riders will complete the remaining 49 miles to the Molineux – with enough time for a shower, lunch and a drink before Palace’s final away game of the season.
Our last three cycling challenges have seen riders travel a collective 350-miles to Bournemouth, Southampton and Aston Villa, raising a total £90,000 for the youth of south London.
WHEN IS BIKE TO WOLVES?
Bike to Wolves will take place on the 10th and 11th of May 2024 – the challenge will finish on the morning of the 11th, where riders will watch Palace take on Wolves in the 3pm kick off.
WHY?
Not only is the ride an incredible physical feat, Bike to Wolves is a great way to connect with likeminded Palace fans, watch the Eagles in action, and most importantly, raise funds for young south Londoners. The money raised will go towards three key areas of our work:
- Keeping more young people away from knife crime, violence and anti-social behaviour
- Helping more young people find career & job opportunities
- Supporting more young people with their mental & physical health

OUR OPPONENT
Aside from the satisfaction from completing a tough personal and charitable challenge, there’s another clear reason why our group are taking part —the football. Palace boast a decent track record against our opponents on the 11th of May, having won five out of six Premier League encounters with Wolves.
In the 3-2 win at home earlier this season, Palace secured a fourth consecutive victory against Wolves—a club record not accomplished since the Wimbledon matches from 1989 to 1992.
Since their re-entry into the Premier League in 2018, Wolves have faced defeat more often against only Liverpool (9) and Manchester City (7) than against Crystal Palace (6).
DONATIONS
All riders have pledged to raise a minimum of £500 for Palace for Life Foundation, helping to support our work across south London.
Although sign ups are now closed, you can still donate. If you know a rider, you can donate directly to their fundraising page, or you can donate to the riders on our main campaign page, here.
Riders on our previous cycling challenges Bike to Bournemouth, Bike to Southampton and Bike to Villa, have raised a whopping £90,000 towards our work in south London, through their impressive fundraising efforts and physical prowess. If you want to support our riders by donating, click here.
