MAN v FAT League

Officially endorsed by the Football Association, MAN v FAT football is a nationwide initiative for men who want to lose weight. With a new league setup in Croydon through the Palace for Life Foundation, Palace fans can now take part in the 15 week programme which promises “You will be fitter, healthier and beating fat. The only thing you have to do is lose weight.”

What?

A 14 week league for men with a BMI of 27.5 who want to play football and lose weight. Each week, players will be weighed and compared to previous weeks to determine weight loss/gain. These results will affect the score line of the 30 minute match so the incentive is not just to perform on the pitch but to lose weight too. So in short, goals will be awarded for weight loss!
