Get Involved: What is it?

We will only be running our Wednesday community session at Archbishop Lanfranc with an adjusted time of 5-6pm, until the 23rd March, when all Get Involved sessions will resume.

If you have any enquiries please contact us at community@palaceforlife.org

Get Involved aims to increase weekly engagement in physical activity, specifically from those of Asian backgrounds. We address the barriers to participation in grassroots football by maintaining dialogue with the local community so we can ensure spaces are truly inclusive. This includes separate male and female sessions, different age groups, and sessions for those of different abilities.

We aim to improve social cohesion and integration with the wider community by working alongside other Palace for Life programmes. We build trust and confidence in Palace for Life and also offer pathways for participants into gaining football qualifications, voluntary experience, paid work and support from Palace staff.

All sessions are entirely free thanks to funding from the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association (PFA) and are open to all within the specified age groups, irrespective of ability. There’s no need to pre-book, simply come along.
