Stanley Park High Launches New Academy with Palace for Life

Former Palace first team player, Bobby Bowry, returned to Selhurst Park this week to launch an exciting new Post 16 Football Academy for south London.

Bowry – who enjoyed success at the club from 1992 to 1995 – joined Year 12 Academy Players from Stanley Park High School to launch the Palace for Life Football Academy which will blend an academic programme with an opportunity to benefit from professional football coaching.

Adam Griffith, Co-Head of Stanley Park High Post 16 said: “We are delighted with our new partnership with Palace for Life Foundation which gives boys the opportunity to play for an outstanding Academy while undertaking an academic education.”

The two-year programme will include coaching, work experience and opportunities to visit Selhurst Park and the CPFC training ground.

The Academy will be open from September 2019 to male students currently in Year 11 with the next trials taking place on May 29th at 4.30 pm at Stanley Park High School in Carshalton.
