Book onto June 2021 Soccer Schools.
Palace for Life’s highly-rated Soccer Schools are back in June, providing the perfect place for 5-12-year-olds in south London to Train Like a Pro.
With COVID-19 safety measures in place at all venues, our Soccer Schools will be running 9am-4pm throughout the school holidays at the following venues:
- Harris Academy Purley
- Kent County Cricket Club
- Caterham School
- Bishop Justus School
- Caterham Pumas F.C
We are also hosting girls-only soccer schools at:
- Bishop Justus School
- Caterham Pumas F.C
We utilise academy-style sessions run by our FA and UEFA-qualified coaches and will include fun tournaments and competitions. There are also specialist Goalkeeper Soccer Schools available delivered by our expert goalkeeping coaches.
All Soccer Schools provide a pathway into our Player Development Centres which are closely linked to Crystal Palace F.C Academy. In the last 3 seasons, 10 players have signed for the Academy directly from the pathway, and a further 34 players have been offered trials.
One parent whose child attended a Palace for Life Soccer School last year said: “The children are active for a large part of the day, playing and training, but they also learn a lot about tactics, team-building and general health and fitness. The coaches seem to treat the children with care and respect and have high expectations of attitude and behaviour. The price for a full day is very good value and lets the children really focus on developing skills that they are passionate about.”
Palace for Life have been running football courses for aspiring young players for over 25 years and all coaches are FA-licensed, DBS-checked and have first aid and safeguarding qualifications.
Senior Football Development Officer at Palace for Life Stuart Jacob added: “We are really excited to be running our Soccer Schools and look forward to welcoming back some familiar faces and hopefully meeting many new players as well. We aim to create a fun environment that allows young players to develop their skills on and off the pitch, with a focus on skills like teamwork and problem solving as well as more practical skills.”
