Writing Stars: Join the Friday Family Challenge

The Premier League is encouraging families at home to work together to produce poems on ambition.

Many parents and children are looking for activities to entertain themselves at home right now, so why not try your hands at poetry?

We are looking for you to be part of the Premier League Primary Stars Friday Family Challenge and submit a poem.

We want you to work together to create a poem on ambition, dreaming big for yourselves and the world around you.

And to help you, we have a message from Cressida Cowell, the Waterstones Children’s Laureate and author of the popular children’s books How To Train Your Dragon.

Entries can be as creative as you like and can be any form of poetic writing, such as a rap or song lyrics. Choose whatever inspires you!

Share your family poem by posting a photo of it to @PLCommunities and @PalaceForLife on Twitter using #PLPrimaryStars or you can film someone reading it aloud and post the video to us on Twitter.

The best entries will be shared online at premierleague.com and PLPrimaryStars.com.

For more information, visit Family Challenge.

Happy writing!
