Our Black History Month Art Challenge is open to local primary school students and encourages pupils to create a piece of artwork using the official Black History Month colours to convey powerful anti-racist messages that will be displayed at Selhurst Park.

October  marks Black History Month in the UK. It celebrates the historical achievements and contributions of black people in this country and around the world, as well as what more needs to be done to ensure our education system is fit for purpose.

In partnership with local schools across Croydon, we’re hosting an Art for Change Competition where local students are be encouraged to create artwork using the official Black History Month colours (Black, Red, Yellow, and Green) to convey powerful anti-racist messages.
