Concept Building Services announced as headline sponsor for Bike from Bournemouth
Palace for Life is excited to announce that Concept Building Services (Southern) will be the headline sponsor for its Bike from Bournemouth cycling fundraiser set for April next year.
Since 2003, Concept Building Services (CBS) has been a leader in building services, offering a wide range of infrastructure solutions across Europe—from simple pipe repairs to full-scale construction projects.
In August 2024, CBS partnered with Crystal Palace F.C. to provide career advice and construction industry opportunities for Academy students, helping them balance their football commitments while developing valuable life skills, and extending broader support to both the club and Palace for Life, starting with a sponsorship of its next cycling fundraiser, Bike From Bournemouth.
Bike From Bournemouth is Palace for Life’s fifth cycling fundraiser – since 2020, riders have collectively cycled over 500 miles to Bournemouth, Southampton, Aston Villa and Wolves, raising over £130,000 across the four rides. This year, Palace fans will be cycling 120 miles from Bournemouth’s Vitality back to Selhurst Park, in time to watch the the Eagles take on the Cherries at 3pm on Saturday 19th April. Money raised from these tough cycles goes towards Palace for Life’s work to improve the mental and physical health of young south Londoners through free sports sessions, one to one mentoring and education training and employment support.
Ian Dixon, Commercial Manager at CBS, is a lifelong Palace fan and passionate cyclist. His enthusiasm for sponsoring Bike from Bournemouth comes from a shared commitment of wanting to support young people with their aspirations.
As a keen cyclist, Ian will be taking part in the 120-mile cycle himself. He said:
“Concept are proud to be working alongside Palace for Life to sponsor the 2025 Bike from Bournemouth ride on the 18th and 19th April. This event strongly aligns with our mission which is to support the Academy as well as the Foundation, offering employment support and advice with apprenticeships that have a work and football balance”
As part of the sponsorship, CBS’s logo will be featured on complimentary cycling jerseys for all riders and will appear on promotional materials for the event.
Palace for Life’s Fundraising Manager Bobby Webbe said:
“We couldn’t be happier to have Concept Building Services onboard as the headline sponsor for this season’s Bike from Bournemouth fundraising challenge! Our shared passion for providing tangible opportunities for young south Londoners make them the ideal partner for this event as their sponsorship not only allows us to enhance the quality of the event for our riders, but ultimately will help us to raise as much money as possible to fund our work in within the local community.”
