Palace for Life win at the Bromley LDA Cup
A huge congratulations to our Disability Football Hub teams who represented Palace for Life brilliantly at the Bromley LDA Cup.
Hosted at Bromley FC’s Copperjax Stadium and organised by Orpington and Bromley Gateway Club, the tournament brought together teams from across the area for a fantastic day of football.
We entered two teams and both performed exceptionally well throughout the day, showing great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship.
Our first team enjoyed an excellent tournament, finishing second in their group before going on to secure third place overall. The players worked incredibly hard throughout the day and should be very proud of their achievement.

Coach Dion Moore praised his team’s efforts, describing it as a “Fantastic team effort, competitive and very enjoyable all around.”
Our second team had a tournament to remember, finishing top of their group before progressing to the final. They then produced a fantastic performance to defeat Bromley FC 1-0 and be crowned Bromley LDA Cup champions.
Reflecting on the team’s success, coach Luke Shorney said his players “worked as a team and supported each other throughout.”
While the results were fantastic, the most pleasing thing was seeing the confidence, enjoyment and support shown by all of our players throughout the day. The tournament provided another great opportunity for participants to represent us, challenge themselves and enjoy competitive football in a positive environment.
A big thank you to Orpington and Bromley Gateway Club for organising such a well-run event, and to Bromley FC for hosting the tournament at Copperjax Stadium.
Well done to all of our players. You represented us brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of yourselves.
