Annual Awards for Powerchair Team

Following the final training session of the year, the Foundation’s Powerchair football team held their annual end of season awards evening. The standard of football continues to rise at the weekly sessions, with the team making great strides over the past 12 months as a result of the hard work and dedication of the players and coaching team.

Joel Sprouse, seen here with coaches Michael and Neal had an impressive year, winning: Top Goal Scorer, Manager’s Player of the Year and the all-important Players’ Player of the Year.

Next season will be the team’s third in the Wheelchair Football Association’s South East Regional League where they will continue a friendly rivalry with teams including Brighton, Reading and Greenwich.
