Marathon March: Andy Johnson says 'Sign up!'

Crystal Palace legend Andy Johnson has encouraged those who are yet to sign up for the Marathon March to join him, Andy Gray, Kevin Day and over 100 Palace fans on the 7th October. Watch his video:

The Marathon March is a 26.2 mile walk, beginning at Selhurst Park and finishing in central London, via Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park and the River Thames. The cost of registration is £25 – which includes a breakfast bite at the stadium, lunch, morning and afternoon snacks and a drink at the finish line pub, as well as a Palace for Life T-shirt and full first aid support. All walkers will commit to raising £300 in sponsorship, and all those who do will have their name printed in the match-day programme.

The Foundation is the charitable arm of Crystal Palace FC and does amazing things helping youngsters in South London who face severe challenges in their lives, including mental health, social exclusion, obesity, disability and finding employment. The Premier League and the football club give great support, but there’s much more that could be done in an area of often severe deprivation if only there were more resources.

You can sign up for the March here. The deadline for signing up is the 22nd September, so don’t miss out!
