Goalkeeper Soccer Schools return this summer!

Palace for Life host summer Soccer Schools for budding goalkeepers.

Palace for Life Foundation will be holding goalkeeper Soccer Schools throughout the 2021  summer holidays.

Suitable for goalkeepers aged 7-12 years, the sessions will be taking place at the following venues:

  • Kent County Cricket Club (2 August – 4 August)
  • Harris Academy Purley (23 August – 25 August)

The specialist goalkeeping Soccer Schools have been specially designed by Palace for Life and Crystal Palace F.C Academy coaches to provide the best football experience for young south London goalkeepers.

The Soccer Schools will allow budding goalkeepers to experience the same sessions that Crystal Palace F.C Academy goalkeepers take part in, as well as unique, intense and specialist coaching for the young players.

Led by FA and UEFA licence coaches, all players who attend the course will be provided with written feedback at the end of the 3 days (if the player attends all 3 days).

Whilst the course focuses on improving the goalkeeper’s technical ability, we aim to teach transferable skills such as compassion and fair play.

There is also the opportunity for talented players who attend the course to join the Palace for Life player pathway.

Palace for Life player pathways are closely linked to Crystal Palace F.C Academy, where in the last 3 seasons 10 players have signed for the Academy directly from the pathway, and a further 34 players have been offered trials.
