Croydon schools show their colours in support of Palace's FA Cup Final
Primary schools across Croydon, and beyond, have joined a 'red and blue' takeover to celebrate Crystal Palace F.C.'s incredible journey to the FA Cup Final.
Primary schools across Croydon, and beyond, have joined a ‘red and blue’ takeover to celebrate Crystal Palace F.C.’s incredible journey to the FA Cup Final.
It all began with an idea from a teacher at Quest Primary School, a proud Palace fan. The school invited pupils to take part in a special ‘Red and Blue Day for CPFC’, encouraging children to wear red and blue clothes or Palace shirts, with one rule, no other football team shirts allowed!
The idea quickly gained momentum, with several other primary schools across South London getting involved – The Minster Primary School, Kensington Primary School and St Chads Primary School. Today, assembly halls and school fields were a sea of red and blue, as students proudly showed their support for the Palace Men’s First Team ahead of this Saturday’s big match.
Take a look below at the fantastic young fans of St Chads Primary School backing the boys in style.
The support doesn’t stop there! Below are some photos of the students from the primary schools, proudly showing their support for the boys, donning their red and blue coloured outfits.
The final means a lot. To us, the fans, the community. It also serves as a powerful reminder to the young people we support: this is your club, and you belong here too.
