Palace Super Draw winner Joanna scores VIP tickets!

Joanna won a pair of hospitality tickets to Palace’s game against Fulham in September as part of our Super Draw matchday competition.

Palace fan Joanna ‘couldn’t believe it’ when she won a pair of hospitality tickets to Palace’s draw against Fulham as part of our Super Draw competition in September.

The Super Draw is a really easy way to support our work in south London. All you need to do is make a £5 monthly donation and you will be entered into a draw at every Palace home game to win an overall prize of £750 and various other cash and club prizes throughout the 2023/2024 season.

Joanna was the lucky winner of our first special club prize this season. She’s been playing the Super Draw since 2016 when she started visiting Selhurst Park. Having originated from south London, Joanna comes from a family of Palace fans and has been supporting our work for years. She said “I want to support local work within the community, around Palace, and anything to do with Palace, I will support 100%”

Funnily enough, Joanna was going to attend the game anyway, so already had brought her tickets. She donated them to a young person on our employability programme, Kamu. Unfortunately, Kamu couldn’t make it, so gave the tickets to his mum and 8-year-old sister instead and according to his mum, they had quite the experience!

“Kamu got called into work yesterday so I went with his little sister (8 years old) and she loved it. She was fascinated with Fulham’s chanting, confused by the hand gestures between opposing fans, and felt players were a bit rough with each other. It was wonderful for me to see and hear it all through her ‘new’ eyes and ears. We both felt a good atmosphere and were happy to have had the chance to be there – my first premier league match too. Please send on our deepest gratitude.”

On winning her hospitality ticket and donating her original tickets to Kamu’s family, Joanna said:

“I actually didn’t believe it. And I actually contacted the hospitality guys here at Palace to double-check. I couldn’t believe it!

I hope they have a fantastic day and just enjoy this amazing atmosphere that nowhere else in the Premier League has – it’s honestly amazing”

The Palace for Life Super Draw is a really easy way to support our work in south London, and with more cash and club prizes; including a signed match-worn shirt and a ‘watch training experience’ still up for grabs, there’s still plenty of time to play.
