Ed Warner appointed Palace for Life Patron
Ed Warner, our former Chair of Trustees, has been appointed an Honorary Patron of Palace for Life
Ed Warner, our former Chair of Trustees, now replaced by Paul Cleal, has been appointed an Honorary Patron of Palace for Life.
Ed first became Chair of Trustees in 2017 during a transformative period for Palace for Life and under his eight years of stewardship, we have doubled in size to 58 full-time staff, allowing us to reach over 16,000 young people each year through our transformative programmes in south London.
After stepping down in December, Ed was replaced by Paul Cleal OBE, who served as a Palace for Life trustee for three years prior to his appointment.
We are delighted that Ed has chosen to continue his longstanding connection with Palace for Life as an Honorary Patron alongside Mark Bright, Saima Mohsin, Ben Bailey Smith, The Rt Hon Steve Reed, Stephen Browett, Andrew Johnson, Chuka Umunna, Susanna Reid, and Eddie Izzard.
Ed shared:
“It has been a privilege to witness the incredible growth and impact of Palace for Life during my time as Chair of Trustees. The Foundation’s commitment to supporting young people and communities in south London is truly inspiring, and I am proud to continue contributing to this mission in my new role as an Honorary Patron.”

Ed has hosted our Investors Club events since it launched in 2022
Mike Summers, Palace for Life CEO, said:
“Ed’s leadership and passion have been instrumental in shaping our success over the past eight years. His leadership has helped us grow into the organisation we are today and we’re thrilled that he will continue to play an active role at Palace for Life as an Honorary Patron.”
We’re pleased to continue working with Ed as a Patron, supporting our work across south London.
