Palace for Life community sessions suspended from 5th November

Following the Government announcement that England will begin a national lockdown on Thursday 5th November and advice from the Premier League, Palace for Life Foundation will be suspending all of our community sessions until Wednesday 2nd December, at which time we will review this situation again.

With schools remaining open, our PL Primary Stars, Team Mates and PL Inspires programmes will continue to run throughout November, with our coaches adhering to the safety procedures of the individual schools in order to keep everyone safe.

The suspension applies to the following sessions:

– Player Development Centres
– Goalkeeping sessions
– PL Kicks
– Weekend Wildcats Hubs at Heavers Farm and Woodmansterne
– Disability football
– Walking football
– Weekend football

Our NCS programme will continue to run online.

Director of Sport and Wellbeing at Palace for Life Gary Mulcahey said: “It is of course disappointing to have to cancel community activities that many people rely on, but the safety of our staff and everyone who attends these sessions is our number one priority. Where possible, we will offer online, virtual activities to keep our participants active and engaged during this lockdown in order to support their physical and mental wellbeing. As soon as we are able to safely resume, we will do so, and we look forward to seeing all of everyone soon.”
