Cheers to two years of The Clifton Arms in the Palace for Life Business Investors Club
The Clifton Arms has been a silver member of the Palace for Life Business Investors Club since 2024.
For many Palace fans, The Clifton Arms is a Crystal Palace matchday staple. Located just a stone’s throw from Selhurst Park, the friendly street-corner pub, ran by South London resident Ewelina Krupa, is best known for its packed pre-and post-match atmosphere. But it’s way more than your typical matchday local.
The Clifton Arms is also a part of the Palace for Life Business Investors Club, a growing network of organisations who have pledged an annual donation of £5,000 or more to support Crystal Palace F.C.’s official charity, Palace for Life.
Through their Silver Tier membership donation, The Clifton Arms has, and continues to, significantly boost Palace for Life’s ability to support disadvantaged young people in South London through regular free physical activity, help with education or employment needs and support with mental health and crime reduction through one-to-one mentoring.
In return, the pub makes a tangible difference in their community, demonstrates their commitment to social responsibility and enjoys exclusive access to Crystal Palace related experiences and events.
Since taking over the pub in 2019 and navigating the challenges of the pandemic, Publican Ewelina Krupa and her team have become immersed in everything Crystal Palace and along the way have become well acquainted with the work of Palace for Life. Their staff have taken part in the 2024 and 2025 Marathon March, attended our FA Cup Celebration evening at Parliament and bi-annual Investors Club events and hosted a community FA Cup event at the pub ahead of the cup final in May.

Ewelina has also supported our Kick Off to Hospitality employment programme, welcoming a participant into the pub for work experience and giving them a real insight into the industry. It’s one of the ways Business Investors Club members can support young people through their day-to-day work.
Rachael Coombs, Business Development Executive at Palace for Life said:
“Our Investors Club is an incredible network of donors who provide us with a brilliant foundation of support for the work we do in local communities in South London. We are so excited that The Clifton Arms has joined our Business Investors Club, as Ewelina and her team are so well-loved in the area and share the drive we have at Palace for Life to help young people in the area realise their potential. We are so grateful for their support and can’t wait to see this relationship grow!”

The Business Investors Club is the corporate offshoot of Palace for Life’s Investors Club, a philanthropic giving scheme open to individuals who donate £1,000 a more per year, in return for exclusive events and experience.
Owner and Manager of The Clifton Arms Ewelina Krupa said:
“Supporting South London means everything to us. It’s where we live, where we work and where we’re raising our families. Taking part in the Marathon March was tough. 26.2 miles is no joke! But it was also unforgettable. Walking alongside fellow Palace fans and finishing with a lap of the pitch at Selhurst Park was pure magic and being able to see the FA Cup waiting for us at the finish line last year made it even more special.
I’d wholeheartedly encourage other local businesses to get involved. We all have a part to play in giving back to the community that supports us. When the community thrives, we all thrive and that’s something worth being part of.”
The Palace for Life Businesses Investors Club has three tiers, with the minimum option starting at £5,000 per year, up to £15,000 or more. Each tier has different benefits available to them depending on how much they choose to donate.
