Start your coaching journey with the Female Coaches Hub

Interested in football coaching? Our eight-week course helps young women aged 16–19 take their first steps into coaching.

Taking place every other Monday at Legacy Youth Zone in Croydon for eight weeks, the hub is a 16-19 year old, female-only, space designed to build confidence, develop skills and introduce participants to the world of football coaching.

The hub is female only and lasts for eight weeks, and at the end of the course, participants will be supported to complete recognised qualifications like the FA Playmaker and gain hands-on experience volunteering with Palace for Life or a local grassroots club.

Across the programme, the group will explore a mix of theory and practical sessions covering topics such as:

  • Coaching journey
  • Coaching skills and behaviours
  • Effective planning
  • Coaches reflection and development
  • Safeguarding
  • First Aid training

WHERE AND WHEN?

Where: Legacy Youth Zone  125 Whitehorse Rd, Croydon CR0 2LG
