Palace for Life partner with University of Greenwich
Through the partnership, the University of Greenwich and Palace for Life, will focus on engaging local communities, expanding access to education and creating employment opportunities for students.
We’re delighted to announce a new partnership with the University of Greenwich following its recent partnership with Crystal Palace Football Club. Rooted in shared values, this partnership reflects the university’s commitment to supporting its local community and enhancing the experience of both students and staff.
Together, we will explore joint initiatives including Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Palace for Life staff, knowledge exchange around social value and impact reporting, and opportunities to co-deliver community programmes alongside additional partners.
As part of the agreement, we will promote relevant job and placement opportunities to Greenwich students and graduates, take part in university events such as Open Days, and work with the Outreach team to inspire local young people to see the value of a Greenwich degree. Palace for Life will also share opportunities for the university to support wider initiatives, including equality, diversity and inclusion campaigns and annual fundraising events.
Rachael Coombs, Business Development Executive at Palace for Life Foundation, said:
“We’re really pleased to be partnering with the University of Greenwich, as we both share a deep commitment to helping young people gain the skills and opportunities they need to move forward in life. This partnership is a great chance to build something together that supports the future of young South Londoners, and we’re excited to get started with the team.”
Mary Ivers, Associate Director of External Engagement at University of Greenwich, said:
“We are delighted to partner with Palace for Life Foundation, which for over 30 years has helped change the lives of young people. This partnership builds on our existing work with community organisations, and together, we will provide valuable experiences for our students while creating positive change across South London.”
